Celebrate the Coleman community at the Walk Through Town and Homecoming Parade on Friday, Sept. 25 from 3pm-6pm, and again on Oct. 1 from 5:30pm–7:30pm with Neighboring Week! The UBay Community Credit Union and several local businesses will be hosting a Neighborhood Block Party in the big parking lot at the credit union, right next to the drive-through. Come ready to have some fun, enjoy some food, connect with neighbors, and celebrate our community and the people who make it special!

Community Blood Drive
You’re invited to donate and become a hero at our upcoming blood drive. Give local, stay local. Every donation is needed to meet high demand for blood in our community. Our goal for this blood drive is 15 donations, and every person who donates will get a coupon for Little Hippie Massage & Wellness!

Lord of the Gourd Carving demonstration on Oct 15 from 3:30pm-6:30pm
Get ready for a gourd-geous and fun time at the Coleman Area Library! Watch Patrick Harrison, the Lord of the Gourd carve, sculpt and arrange pumpkins into Halloween masterpieces, while you enjoy some apple cider! Live from 3:30pm-6:30pm!
This activity is funded in part by a grant from the Michigan Arts & Culture Council.
This event is free and open to the public. Recommended for all ages.
An Evening with bestselling author Craig Johnson
Join us for an evening with author Craig Johnson! New York Times best-selling author of the Walt Longmire mystery novels.
Whether you are a long time fan or new to his work, don't miss this chance to meet the man behind the legend! Learn about the stories that inspired the Netflix series and discover stories behind the iconic sheriff. Book sales & signing will follow this event. You won't want to miss this one!

Ongoing Used Book Sale, $1 per Bag
Coming in early October, watch for the "Big Sale" after we receive the "leftovers" from the AAUW Book Sale at the Midland Mall which is held Sept. 26-27, 2026.
Proceeds from the Used Book Sale benefit the Coleman Area Library and help us buy new books and put on free programs and events for all ages. You can shop the sale during regular business hours. Find spinning racks in the front lobby and more carts of books within the library. Fill a bag as full as you can and pay just $1.00! This sale is year-round and selection varies from week to week.
