Michigan: By the Glass

Tuesday, October 27

6:00 – 7:30pm

Michigan has become home to a remarkable world of locally produced wine, craft beer, and distilled spirits—but the story behind the glass is every bit as interesting as what goes into it.

Join Michigan author Rick Sigsby for an entertaining journey through the people and history behind the state's wineries, breweries, and distilleries.

Drawing from years of research and travel for his books on Michigan's beverage industries, Rick will share stories about how these businesses developed, what makes Michigan particularly well suited to their craft, and some of the personalities and places he discovered along the way. Come discover another side of Michigan—one glass at a time. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages provided (due to library insurance limitations).

This event is free and open to the public. Recommended for adults.

Location: Coleman Area Library, 111 1st St, Coleman, MI 48618, USA
