A crash course for those wishing to dive into making a sourdough starter, with tips on how to care for, a few simple recipes to start, as well as some free tasty examples of things you can make with your sourdough starter!

You will get to take home your very own sourdough starter. Due to limited supplies you must reserve a spot by paying a $10 refundable deposit prior to the event.  Pay deposit in person at the library or CLICK HERE on this link to pay deposit online

  • If paying your deposit online: in the checkout text box that says "Add a note for the seller" please list what you are paying for with your Deposit. Example: sourdough class. Don't forget to also fill out the registration on the library's event page (below). Deposit's may be refunded at the Coleman Area Library when you come to the event. We will not refund deposits over the phone, for "no-shows," or cancellations to the event. Visit the library for more information.
